Detailed itinerary

Upon arrival in the vibrant city of Kathmandu, you will be greeted with a warm welcome and transferred to your hotel. Take the rest of the day to relax, acclimate, and explore the bustling streets, ancient temples, and rich cultural heritage of the capital city. In the evening, enjoy a welcome dinner and a briefing about the upcoming trek.

Start your adventure with an exhilarating 35-minute flight to Lukla, offering breathtaking views of the Himalayan peaks. Upon arrival, begin your trek through picturesque Sherpa villages, lush forests, and scenic landscapes. The trail to Phakding is a gentle descent, allowing you to ease into the trekking experience as you follow the Dudh Koshi River.

Today’s trek is more challenging as you ascend to Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region. The trail crosses several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags and passes through vibrant rhododendron forests. As you climb, catch your first glimpses of Everest and the surrounding peaks, with a rewarding arrival in Namche Bazaar, known for its lively market, cozy teahouses, and stunning mountain vistas.

Spend the day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar, which is crucial for adjusting to the higher altitude. Explore the local market, visit the Sherpa Culture Museum, or hike to the Everest View Hotel for a panoramic view of Everest and other towering peaks. This day helps ensure your body adapts to the altitude, making the rest of the trek more enjoyable and safe.

Begin your descent back to Lukla, retracing your steps through the familiar terrain. The return trek offers a different perspective and a chance to reflect on your journey while savoring the stunning scenery. Arrive in Lukla with time to relax and celebrate the completion of your trek with fellow trekkers.

Bid farewell to the mountains as you take a morning flight back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. Explore more of Kathmandu’s attractions, shop for souvenirs, or simply unwind after your trek.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your departure. Take with you unforgettable memories and a sense of accomplishment from your Everest View Short Trek. Safe travels and hope to see you again on your next adventure!
